- Performers
- 1–5 consenting adults: one Lead and up to four musicians, each from a separate photo. Or one pet performing solo.
- Scene
- An original warm office concert with wooden shelves, records, a lamp, keyboard and microphones.
- Video
- 15 seconds · MP4 · 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9 · 720p target, with dimensions depending on format. Our October 28 three-person square test produced 960 × 960.
- Song
- Write an original AI rap with friends’ names, edit your own lyrics, or upload your own MP3, WAV or M4A. No supplied commercial song.
- Your audio
- 15 seconds to 10 minutes, up to 20 MB. Pick a 15-second excerpt; the selected audio drives the performance. Uploaded-song delivery has no separate MP3.
- Price
- 70 credits per video. Starter pack: $6.99. No extra charge for musician seats. Credits are required before audio or video generation.
- Free preview
- A still scene preview, not a video. Up to three new previews per signed-in user per day, subject to shared capacity. Reopening the same approved preview reuses it.
- Time
- Video: about 5 minutes, plus song creation and review. Queues vary; we email when ready.
- Limits
- Three-person video generation has been tested; reliable four- and five-person output is not yet established. Check every face before filming. More people can reduce identity consistency. Lip sync, instrument motion and names may drift; no exact-performance guarantee.
- Privacy
- Input photos and uploaded songs are stored privately and expire after seven days. AI providers process inputs; see the privacy policy for provider handling.
- Affiliation
- RapSong.ai is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by NPR or Tiny Desk. No NPR logos, footage or original performance references are used.
