How do I make sure it says the name right?
Add a phonetic hint, listen to the preview and correct the name before sharing.

Partly—you can supply a pronunciation hint and listen before unlocking, but no spelling guarantees a correct AI vocal. Treat the name check as a real listening step, especially for an unfamiliar name.
Give the name a clear cue
- Keep the person's actual name in the name field. Do not silently replace it with a different name just to get a rhyme.
- Add an easy-to-read pronunciation hint. For Siobhan, “shih-VAWN” shows two syllables and the stress on the second one.
- Review the lyric lines containing the name. Shorten a crowded line so the performer has room to say it.
- Continue to pronunciation confirmation and check the hint again. Confirm the adult and permission statements when requesting the audio preview.
- Listen carefully to the name in the preview. If it is outside the first 30 seconds, the preview cannot verify it; review the full song after unlock.
What makes a useful hint?
Use a familiar sound for each syllable, separate them with a hyphen and emphasize the stressed syllable if needed. Avoid a long linguistic explanation. The hint guides the model; it does not train a personalized pronunciation dictionary.
Ask the person how they say their name if you are unsure. A spelling can have more than one valid pronunciation, and a generated voice should not be the authority on somebody's identity. For a surprise gift, check with someone who knows them well without sharing private details.
Use the included re-sing carefully
The unlocked delivery page groups the pronunciation field and the remaining free re-sing in one card. Update the hint and submit once. If the task is still processing or its result is unknown, wait for the status to resolve rather than sending repeated attempts.
A re-sing generates a new version of the whole song. The voice, timing and beat may change, and a second version can still mispronounce the name. The allowance is one free re-sing per unlocked song, not unlimited revisions.
For a name that must be exact, a personally recorded greeting is a dependable addition to your gift. Read exact lyric limits and the refund policy for the distinction between a bad pronunciation and a failed generation.
